Director of the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Dhaka, Maxim Dobrokhotov visited Stamford University. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Mohammed Ali Noki expressed great interest in cooperation and declared getting ready to participate in various joint programs aimed at achieving educational goals.
Fatinaaz Firoz, Chair of the Board of Trustees, who was present at the meeting, expressed her opinion in favor of opening the «Cabinet of the Russian World», stressing the great importance of such an initiative in promoting and studying the Russian language, literature and history, which are an important element of world culture.
The head of the RCSC noted that since its foundation in 1974, the Center has held numerous film screenings, exhibitions, various literary, cultural and educational programs, and also rendered significant assistance to Bangladeshi citizens interested in higher education in Russia.
