On November 11, 2020, the Russian Center for Science and Culture (RCSC) in Dhaka hosted an online literary event dedicated to the 199th anniversary of the birth of F.M. Dostoevsky.

The meeting was attended by students of Russian language courses. During the video presentation, the teacher Yasmin Sultana spoke about the life and literary activities of a Russian writer, philosopher and publicist, and a former professor of the History department of Jahangirnagar University Mr. Taibul Hasan Khan supplemented her story with comments in Bengali.

The participants noted that F.M. Dostoevsky is one of the most famous literary figures in the world, thanks in part to his works such as «Crime and Punishment» and «The Idiot».
