The Russian Center for Science and Culture in Dhaka organized an online literary seminar dedicated to the 192-birth anniversary of Russian writer Lev Tolstoy. The members of cultural association Kanthashilon and students of the Russian Language Courses took active part as well as many lovers of Russian literature. Famous Bengali journalist, translator, graduate of the Faculty of Philology Kuban State University (Krasnodar) and General Secretary of Kanthashilon Mr. Zahid Reza Nur prepared a video presentation in which he spoke in detail about the life and work of Lev Tolstoy.

Participants also read selected parts of Lev Tolstoy's literature in Russian and Bengali and expressed their views on the influence of Russian authors on contemporary literature. The seminar was followed by virtual exhibition.
