On the Day of Military Glory, the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Bangladesh and the Daffodil International University (DIU) jointly held a virtual exhibition and seminar dedicated to the 77th anniversary of the Battle of Kursk.

In his speech the Director of the RCSC Maxim Dobrokhotov noted the decisive importance of the victory of the Soviet troops on August 23, 1943 at the Kursk Bulge, which became a turning point in World War II. Mr. Rezwan Siam, Student of Dept of Computer Science and Engineering of DIU, made a short presentation of this historic event. DIU alumni Nafiza Rahman Mou, who is pursuing her Masters at Voronezh State University of Forestry, discussed about the background facts for the students and audiences.

The DIU Assistant Director of International Affairs Mr. Syed Raihan-Ul-Islam and lecturer of Department of English Mr. Ehatasham Ul Hoque Eiten thanked all the participants for their interest and expressed their wishes for further cooperation with the RCSC.
