157 young Bangladeshi artists contributing to mark the 48th anniversary of establishing of the diplomatic relations with Russia

The Russian Center for Science and Culture in Dhaka held a series of events dedicated to the 48th anniversary of establishing of the diplomatic relations between the USSR (Russia) and Bangladesh. One was the 2 week exhibition of children's drawings, which showed importance in establishing contacts between peers of the two states.

Very young members of the Serov Academy of Fine Arts, through creativity, expressed their understanding of the history of their country, which gained independence thanks to the decisive support of the Soviet Union. In his welcoming speech to the exhibition participants, the President of the Bangladesh-Russia Friendship Society, the former Vice Chancellor of the University of Dhaka Professor AAMS Arefin Siddique thanked the organizers for the much-needed project and expressed hope for further strengthening of bilateral ties in all areas.
