National Museum hosted a Painting Exhibition of renown Malaysian Painter

A solo Painting Exhibition by eminent Malaysian painter Abdul Ghafur Haji Tahir took place for the first time in Bangladesh. This also trained architect gathered most of his research in Islamic arts from Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Turkey and UAI and nowadays is one of the most popular calligraphy artists.

Director of Russian Center for Science and Culture Mr. Maxim Dobrokhotov attended this event as a special guest. In his speech he pointed out that his institute has been working in Bangladesh for a long time to promote mutual cultural exchanges through various activities and programs including painting sector. So such interesting exhibitions carry a wonderful message of peace, allow individuals to get to know each other more closely and strengthen the relationship in between nations and countries too.
